Closed for Routine Maintenance!

From now until noon April 1, Trackside Treasure will be closed for routine maintenance. The reason for this temporary outage is to provide better service to a large group of our readers. Blog analytics have revealed that there are many, many readers joining us from Latin America. As a gesture of respect and international co-operation, we will be converting to an all-Latin format. We will be translating all posts into this historic, majestic language, just to prove it is NOT a dead language. Exceptions to this change include diesel model designations, train numbers, wheel arrangements of steam locomotives using the Whyte classification system, and any quotations by Julius Caesar or references to Caesar salad. These will appear in English.

We thank you for your co-operation, apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and to inspire you to prepare for this change...

Chris: I like a good April Fool's Day ruse but I like a good night's sleep alot better - 0520 was coming up too soon!
Michael: Didn't want to disappoint.

Someone at work scotch-taped all the optical mouses! Fun!
Thanks for your comments,
